lost and found dogs. Because of the
contacts our committee has we are able
to help in the recovery of stolen
dogs. We work closely with local animal
control officers, shelters and
police departments. Contact numbers are

Canine Good Citizen Test:
Our AKC Canine Good Citizen Test is held at various locations in

tester or for information call Carol Dotts 717-862-3443.
Breed Referral Service:
York Kennel Club has a breed referral service for people unable to

Legislative Committee:
This committee works behind the scenes to encourage passage of
proposed laws that will benefit the pets regardless, of breed. Our
rally for the consumer protection "puppy law" brought attention to
our lawmakers that a Consumer Bill was needed and it was passed to
the club's delight.
Community:
The York Kennel Club is extremely proud of the role they play within
the community. Whether helping recover a lost dog, educating the
public about responsible dog ownership, offering breed ring
training, breed referral or just being there to see that our pets
are treated fairly, we are dedicated to the idea that pet ownership
Is a privilege for all to cherish and enjoy.
